Digital Transfers

For multicolour transfers we suggest you try our Digital Transfers. Perfect for small runs as set up charges are minimal and you can have as many colours as you like. We produce vibrant transfers, made from our lightweight Digi-Flex White. We also supply custom made Transfers in Digi-Flex Clear, Digi-Flex Sub Blocker, Digi-Flex Glow in the Dark and Digi-Flex Reflective.

We require vector artwork, AI, CDR, EPS, or PDF. Please convert fonts to curves/paths or supply font files with your order. Vectored artwork is by far the best and easiest artwork to work with however, it is not possible with photographs are highly toned/ gradient filled graphics. If your supply Bitmap artwork, acceptable formats are JPG & TIF and most other common pixel based extensions. All Bitmap images must be at least 300 DPI at your requested print size. Artwork is taken sized and colour matched as required. We then add a Cut-line or Cut-contour with either a 0.5mm Bleed or 0.25mm choke, this allows us to contour cut to the edge of a graphic leaving a clean finished result.

We use a Roland Versacamm VS 300i which uses a CMYK process to creating colour. All files are best saved with CMYK values as this will be more practical and easy to match. When the graphic is printed it is NOT mirrored , the same machine cuts to the contour created. The excess is weeded away leaving only print on the carrier. A heat resistant Application Tape is required remove the print from its carrier and exposing the adhesive. The print is then ready to be applied onto your medium.

Application Instructions:
Set machine temp. To 165C
Prepress garment for 5 seconds.
Remove White beaded cover from transfer
Place the transfer in position on the garment.
Apply heat for 5-8 seconds, using light/ med.
Cool for 1-2 seconds (maximum) then remove the backing paper .
Repress using a teflon cover sheet for 3-4 seconds

Lead times: Depending on work load, new jobs once approval has been accepted and/or goods have arrived can be up to 10 working days.
Repeat orders can be up to 7 working days.
